Streaming Error - Couldn't connect to Relay

This happens 99% of times i try to connect away from home. Anyone have any ideas at a solution or know if this is being worked on? So far the only thing I've found that works is just trying to connect over and over and over and eventually it sometimes works.

id think that except occasionally it will randomly work fine for no apparent reason

god its annoying because my headset broke and im using Steam Link as my computer audio source until i get a new pair

on the same lan, make sure they get a similar ip, and you can ping the link
make sure windows network is set to private not public
make sure wifi isolation is disabled on the routers wifi settings
also disable any vpn

I know this post is old but...
If anyone has been having similar issues, my fix has been to restart steam. I would use Chrome Remote Desktop (or any other remote access) to access the computer then shut down steam and launch it again and then it would connect like normal via Steam Link.

i've been having this issue for months now and have not been able to play in my free time at work. i assumed it was because the work firewall blocked it, but decided to try from home on the same network and it's still not working. i've tried restarting steam, disabling Remote Play and re-enabling it, even Unpair all Devices and reconnect the devices, but nothing has worked, i still cannot connect. i have also tried to disable my VPN even though i never had issues connecting before with it active on both ends.
