Steam Link for WoW using a PS4 controller

Hello Bois

I need some help!

Does anyone know how to properly setup this? I can play other games on Steam Link with my PS4 controller, but it's not working with wow. Do i need wowmapper and/or console port?

Or can i just use an ingame configuration for a PS4 controller?

Although I have not tried it for a while, I did use wowmapper for the ease of use. Either way should be fine through the Steam Link, if you add it as a non-Steam game and launch it through Big Picture.

if you add the launcher to steam

or add the game exe with -launch
so it does not use the launcher

then steam can pass the controller to the game from the link

not sure if wow supports xinput/dinput controllers tho
if it does not, you can re-map the controller to keyboard inputs
