Steam Link
Having a hard time connecting the Steam Link app from my Chromebook
I'm trying to use the Steam Link app (still in beta) on my Chromebook, downloaded from Google's Android Play Store.

My laptop: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.GL4AA.008

The Steam Link app can't find my PC.

My other problem is pairing my Xbox One blutooth controller to my Chromebook, which is reacts weird: Pairing successful > Connecting > Connection failed > have to repair... again and again.

Had this trouble today but fixed 1 completely, the second partially.

1. Type in your computer's name under the "other computer" option on the initial pairing screen. You can find your computer's name by right clicking My Computer on Windows and you will see the name to input under Computer Name.

2. You have to enter a command in developer mode shell to be able to consistently pair your xbox one s controller:
a. Put your chromebook in Developer Mode.
b. Use Ctrl + Alt + T to access the crosh developer shell.
c. Type "shell" as a developer.
d. Type "sudo sh -c "echo 1 > /sys/module/bluetooth/parameters/disable_ertm" in the shell to allow your Xbox One S controller to pair. May need to cycle the pairing a few times.
e. Test it's connected and working at http://html5gamepad.com

So I say this is a partial fix because it works marvelously for Project Stream but I can't map all the buttons for the controller in the Steam App. So some buttons wind up not working at all like the L3 and R3 buttons.
