Steam Link app for LG WebOS TVs

As an owner of a glorious 55" OLED B7 TV by LG (with WebOS) I would highly appreciate an official response about the possible future release of a Steam Link application for LG Content Store / LG WebOS Smart TVs.
Sony/Samsung owners are currently able to stream games from PC directly, but there's no such option for LG owners, we can only purchase a physical device.
I'd like to know if we should just stay calm and wait for a while or abandon all hope and buy a Steam Link device as an only option.

Valve might have a timed exclusivity deal with Samsung.

Yep, none of the 2022 TVs have Steam Link app lol. Sony has a buggy Steam Link version that doesn't support 4K, LG - doesn't have the app all, Samsung - just dropped the app from 2022 models and pushing towards their brand new "Game Hub" so that we pay more to play games. Yay!

Microsoft will push Game Pass on TV's soon. Also cheaper than the Sony sub.

who asked for game pass on TVs? I want steam on my LG. Works fine on my samsung and philips.

Has anyone tried with Chromecast with google tv? Steam link to my phone works well so id assume that's an easy fix for £25 on sale?

if you have google TV you sohuld be able to use android app.

U dont need steam link on LG TV just use remote desktop option on it and turn it on in windows and then u can connect TV as a third monitor.
