That might work with an laptop. This "Miracast" function as i know is only available with wireless adapter. Why Microsoft let us not use this option by cable (LAN instead of WLAN)? I dont know.
This is an awesome idea! Any idea when it will hit LGtv stores? And if you don't mind answering this one, how will you monetise? Is it possible to charge for apps in WebOS, or just subscriptions?
I have no interest for monetizing. And I don't have plan to submit to LG content store either, as it's very complicated. As a homebrew developer I encourage you to sideload it to the TV. Of course, donations by GitHub are always welcome :)
