Steam Remote Play vs Parsec
I know this is not really the place to post this, but I saw Steam Link and Remote Play in the same setting and figured this would be good enough. I do not see any discussion places for Remote Play.

Should I use Remote Play or Parsec to play local games online with friends? I have been trying to play A Hat in Time with someone for a long time now and the game's online functionality is limited to Online Party, an interaction hub purely for messing around and competing with others, but not cooperative progression. In other words, entirely different from the local co-op. If I host, they see a very poor image with adequate input lag, well if they host, I see nothing more than a frame of the stream before it freezes.

On the other hand, I only hear good things about Parsec. Even if somebody has bad Internet, as they say, it is still adequate. So, I am starting to believe Parsec should be the way to do things going forward for local multiplayer games, but I am unsure. Is Parsec really good for people who have slow Internet? My Internet is fast, well theirs is slow.

That would be here: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/homestream/discussions/

That said, both are free to use, so why not just try them and see which you like more?
