But I use an original steam machine with steamos.
I think you just have a problem with video drivers though.
-GPU drivers fully updated
-Google chrome hardware acceleration disabled
Now, no more black screen ... it's working for 3-5 minits then, Tv screen freeze (still sounds in background) while perfectly working on pc screen ...
Absolutluy no ideas ... Giving up!
Exact same symptoms that my 1st attempts : Black screen after minimizing big picture mode and launching netflix app., with sounds in background ...
Try to check the netflix app settings, but no Hardware acc. to enable/disable.
Not to say I can't add netflix app as a non steamgame (found windows app folder and netflix ... but absolutly no .exe)
Crappy situation
Not sure about what' you're saying ...
Steam itself will just grab the compositor and encode that. If there is another application in the way, it might get black.
Have tried everything. Close every program that could have grab some cpu process, or bandwidth .
Still the same :
-black screen with native netflix App. (win 10), microsoft edge or firefox
-screen freeze with google chrome
Defenitivly good DRM ... but sorry affair for honnest netflix users
Hopefully this works for other people too. I think it just bypasses the Windows 10 DRM.
