Extreme input lag samsung tv

For so,e odd reason my steam link has massive input lag between my input (mouse/keyboard/controller) and my tv. This is without the computer, and running a game seems to add no input lag, so ve determined it has to be my pc. Are there certain settings i should turn on/off to decrease input lag? Ive already set the i put to tv.

in the tv settings disable overscan, and all noise reduction ect..
and/or put it to game mode

I didnt see game mode at first but now that ive turned it on it works great. Case closed!
