Extreme mouse sensitivity
Ever since the June 9th Steam Client Beta (and the Stable Client update today) my mouse sensitivity on the Steam Link box has been way outta wack! I first noticed it in Minecraft, everything spazzes out with any little movement of the mouse. Same issue in any Source Engine game (HL2, Gmod, etc.) I fixed it by going back to the stable client.

Now that the stable branch has been updated to remote play, I'm having this issue again. It's just as bad in Minecraft, but in Source games it feels more like the mouse is being mapped as a joystick, the further you move from the point where the mouse was when the game loaded, the faster it moves continuously in that direction. Opening Big Picture mode (which I rarely ever use) does not alleviate the issue either.

There's a mouse setting in Link Configuration Menu, did you try it?

I have a similar issue in Waframe.

Yeah, I turned the sensitivity all the way down there. Didn't help a bit.

I'm currently using VirtualHere to share the mouse USB receiver direct to my computer, which works, but the mouse cursor looks stuttery, even though it actually works with minimal delay.

Same problem.
Playing World Of Warships is not possible.

Thanks for the update. Good weekend.

Same issue here with Day of Defeat, was playing yesterday with no issues, today the mouse is moving super fast.

I have the same problem.. first noticed it in Minecraft, but it also affects other games like Portal. The mouse works completely fine outside of games.. but in game it is hyper sensitive.. almost as if it is being pulled to the top or bottom of the game's field of view.

Same Problem here. Normal sensitivity in desktop. Extreme sensitivity in games when you control the camera by mouse. Problem has occured in Warframe, Portal 2 and Saints Row IV so far.

Same problem here; mouse control while in games using steam link is erratic and unplayable. Tried Warframe and it's unplayable through steam link using a mouse. Adjusted all the mouse sensitivity settings and, in most cases, makes the issue worse. Playing a game direct from the host PC, it's fine. I hope the next Steam update addresses this.

The free version of Virtualhere client allows you to solve this problem until it is fixed.

The latest update messed up all my games from Mud Runners, Storm works, House flipper, and all other games that require mouse aiming. The game menus are fine but once in game it looks like the old counter strike 360 spin. The only exception is top down RTS games like age of empires. I think it has to do with the Y axis in the latest update being set to high. Hope this gets fixed thank in advance. :steamhappy:

Edit/add: also effects the steamlink app if installed on raspberry pi

I'm kinda suspicious of this bit of the update news on June 5th for the beta client:
Steam Input Fixed a case where glyphs shown through Steam Input API are incorrect when converting a configuration between controller types, ex: loading a Xbox controller configuration on a PS4 controller.

I'm not sure how this could affect a mouse, but this is the update where I first had the issue, and this is the only change to inputs. The only other changes were fixing a hang issue, and a network indicator on slow networks.

Also having issues with this as of this morning playing FFXIV on both the stable & beta branch. When adjusting the camera with the mouse the sensitivity is uncontrollably high. Little to no change editing sensitivity settings in game down to the lowest setting also.
