Steam Link Controller Deadzone
Hello.
I Use a Steam Link, with Xbox One S controller pair on bluetooth. The problem is, if i play with the controller through the Pc, the aiming is butter smooth, any game, but if i play through Steam Link, the controller get huge Deadzone, and the aiming was ruined.

Xbox compatible turned off, all the games recognize the controller, and it is just the right analog stick problem.
I try with a normal Xbox 360 controller but the problem is the same.

So no fps, tps, or any game what needs precise control.

Any info about it, or anyone else has this problem?

Thanks

Oh, this isn't just me then. I found my sticks oddly touchy when manoeuvring in Elite Dangerous, but just thought I wasn't used to the controller (Steam Link is the only time I use a Xbone pad).

Could you pls. try the controller directly your computer. If you find your settings much better directrly through the PC, than something has wrong with the Link.

Ok so what do we do if we have this problem? Is there no setting to adjust the deadzone on the steam link?

begin streaming and change the controllers deadzone settings
steam -> library -> right click on game -> steam controller config
each controller can have different configs

I have the same problem, with all my various controllers. I am using raspberry pi steam link app. How can I adjust the native deadzone on the steamlink side? all deadzones set to zero, but still a massive dead zone

Over 3 years later and they still haven't fixed the problem.

I bought a mobile controller with hall effect sticks and triggers with zero dead zones. I thought the issue was the controller at first but then I connected to my PlayStation using the PS Play app and there was zero dead zones there.

Steam gives you the option to lower the dead zone and even show that the triggers and sticks are registering at the zero dead zone but the game doesn't pick that up. In the steam link app if you go to controller testing it doesn't start moving until it's past the dead zone. This needs to be fixed.

The problem is 100% the steam link app. It's messing up my gaming.
