Hyperspin

Hi,

When i try to run Hyperspin (as a non steam game) it works perfect, the menus and the videos are working okay. But if i try to open a game i get a black screen with sound, it happends with all the systems (emulators) dolphin, mame, demul, etc.

Since if i launch dolphin as a non steam game and it works great, i was wondering if there is any way to fix this. I mean to make the emulators works by using hyperspin.

Couple of things, does hyper spin over rule the emulators standard .cfg for video output and maybe set a resolution/refresh that the link might not like?
Maybe set it to a window mode if possible, (been ages since I set up a HS box).

Second is try running steam in admin mode, as there may be an issue that HS isn't forwarding the video stream due to it being a go between steam and a 3rd party exe (program). Bit of a long shot I know.

I won't even dare suggest Retroarch as an alternative ;)

Figured that this thread has a similar issue to yours, it might be worth trying some of the suggestions in there.
