Steam Link
Playing Gears of War 4 Coop - Splitscreen (Using Steam Link and a Steam Controller + Xbox 360 Controller)
Is this possible?

I found a tool that was able to add Gears of War 4 to my Steam Library (UWPHook).

So now I can start the game and in my Steam Link settings I see both controllers.

However when I try to start a local co-op game it asks me to press "Start" on a secondary controller. Neither of the two start buttons do anything..

I was hoping someone would have a solution to this?

I just got my Steam Link like 3 days ago, but primarily for this purpose instead of buying an XBox One Console just to play Gears of War 4 **Cough waste of money Cough**.. So please keep it low tech as I have only spend a few hours playing Rocket League with my Steam Controller.

EDIT1:
I just tried to start a single player game using my Xbox 360 Controller but it seems I am unable to move using that. Both D-pads works "looking around" and none of them moves the player.

EDIT2:
Both controllers are directly plugged into my Steam Link and works for navigating the Steam Link menus without any problems

An UWP apps sees your controllers connected to Steam Link as Keyboard/Mouse

You need to connect your controllers directly to the host PC or use VirtualHere for Steam Link to make your host computer "think" your controllers are connected directly

BTW are you able to get more than 30 FPS using UWPHook?
