How connect steam link with extended router not on the same network

I used wired connection:

Computer network:
ip: 192.168.1.40
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1


Steam link:
ip: 192.168.3.40
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.3.1
DNS 1: 192.168.1.1
DNS 1: 192.168.3.1

If I collect my steamlink in the computer network, everything works well.

If I collect my steamlink in the extended network (192.168.3.1), I'm able to update but unable to connect to my computer.
I disabled my firewall and got the same problem.

Anyone know the configuration to be able to connect my steamlink in the computer network from the 192.168.3.1 network.

But router Linksys E100 (192.168.3.1) is not able to do a

"You're able to update" means the Gateway (3.1) has access to the Internet.
"Unable to connect to your computer" is because Link and PC are on different subnets (1.X and 3.X).

Is it possible to be able to connect the 2 subnet to be able to see my computer?

Probably setting a different subnet mask, like 255.255.0.0

I tried to use a static adress in the computer network for my steamlink and it's doesn't work too.

The Steam Link and the PC really need to be on the same subnet, as roughnecks pointed out.

Your options:
1) Change the subnet mask on both routers and PC and Steam Link like roughnecks suggested, or perhaps 255.255.252.0
2) Change the "extended network" (192.168.3.x) router to pass-through mode, so it functions like a network switch instead of a router. This will turn off the DHCP which assigns the IP address to the Link. Then the main router will assign IPs like 192.168.1.x to all devices, you will no longer have 192.168.3.x network.
3) Replace the router of the extended network with a simple network switch. You will no longer have the 192.168.3.x network.

I just bougth a switch, this will resolve my problem! The E1000 doesn't have the switch option.
