PS4 controller driver update error

Hi steam community,

I just bought myself a steam link but I run into problems before the fun can start.

I paired my PS4 controller which steam recognised on my tv but when I want to start playing I get a message on my tv: Streaming requires additional driver installation. Please follow the Steam prompts on the remote computer.

When I go back to my computer (iMac - 10.13.1) I have already a popup window from steam to update my gamepad driver.

When I run that installer, halfway I get an installation failed error.
So I can't start playing until I did my PS4 driver update.

I read on the forum PS4 controllers work ? Or don't they.
Or do I need a xbox controller / steam controller..

All help / tips are welcome.

iMac System Preferences→Security and privacy(might be security settings)→Execute permissions of the application that you downloaded

Can not be done In the manner described above？

If you have a PS3 controller, I recommend you there.
