Yes. While not explicitly stated on the store page any generic gamepad that works like an xbox controller should be fine.

Yes that Logitech Gamepad F310 is supported. I have one and it works very well. Just plug it into and of the 3 Steam Link USB ports, and it will work straight away.

I use that controller on the Link and it works. You have to plug it into one of the Link USB ports. If you have it plugged into your PC still, it's not going to work.

When I plug direct to link it won't let me startup. If I keep my Xbox controller plugged in and plug the f310 it still does not recognize :( right now I play Xbox controller on TV and Logitech on PC since Logitech won't work at all on the link. Tried all ports

Makesure yout switch on the back of your controller is set to X & not D before you start the Link. Switch your TV to the HDMI input you have your Link attached to. Start up your Steam Link. If you can't do it with your Logitech controller, use your Xbox controller. Just to get it open.On the main Steam Link screen (on your TV) after youve booted it up. Go to settings/controller. You should see "Logitech F310 Gamepde (Xinput)" listed. You can click"A" on the controller to test it out. There might be software that needs on install. If so it should start as soon as you plug the Logitech or Xbox controller in. Let me know if this helps. Also feel free to send me a friend request on steam so we can talk in real time, if none of that solves your issue.
