Games with launcher, Remote desktop

Hello Valve, i am playing some games with seperate launchers with steam link but everytime i start the game i have to manually press "play" at the launcher. Can you please upgrade your features of steam in home streaming to support htese games.

If you can not play games with steam link because of the launcher issues, then the product description of SteamLink is wrong, which means false advertising.

Can you please post a releasedate for this feature? thanks in advance.

I've played games with launchers on my Steam Link. Most recently XCOM 2. They work fine, you just need some way to control the mouse to click the button, either through a "desktop" controller configuration, or simply having a mouse plugged into the Link.

@Vithigar ok i try that. but it would be very nice actually if games like Fractured Space were run directly... I really think having a mouse next to the sofa is a bit unnecessary. if nothing helps, i will get one of these small bluetooth keyboards with integrated touchpads for 5-10 bucks.

The problem which i have with Fractured space especialyl is, that i play on a higher resolution on my pc than on my tv... this means that the window of the launcher is moved outside of the screen somehow. really weird.

That's really weird actually. In Home Streaming should grab the window and show it to you, no matter where it was placed. I might give Fractured Space a try with it when I get home this evening, just to see what's up.

Maybe the error is also on my side, i might reinstalling steam or so as well, maybe it helps before you try installing fractured space
