Average Shipping Time?

I ask this because it's been 8 days since I ordered the Steam Link + ICEY bundle, and in my purchasing history -> shipping details it still says "Shipping Status: Shipping Soon". How long did it take for you to get your Steam Link? I'm fairly concerned at this point but don't know if it's normal to take this long to even start shipping it.

Did you not recieve the email update about the huge demand and backlog due to the sale? They are saying that deliveries may now take up to three weeks as it sounds like they need to wait for more stock. It may be less as the same message was sent to everyone and some of us who ordered within the first few hours of the sale have now recieved their Steam Links but if they are waiting for more stock to arrive, add in the fact that it's the weekend which delays things and you've probably got to wait a bit longer yet.

...huh. Nope, I never got an email on that. It's reassuring to know that though; I'm not anxiously waiting for the Link to arrive, so I'm fine with waiting a few weeks, but I just wanted to make sure the long wait time is to be expected.

I was also wondering why I hadn't received an email from steam about the delay so I checked my emails again and I found it in my junk folder.
so you should check this as well in case it is there also.
I think it went in the junk folder because it was from steamsupport instead of steam.

My E-Mail said that i'd get one 4-8 Days, but the new Date of arival is...

That there is a high demand, & I won't recieve my order till up to 3 weeks,

Also, thats not what the E-Mail says, it says that it won't start shipping

till up to 3 weeks, that doesn't mean it will arive by then... @_@

My Order hasn't even been processed yet...

Halloween will be sad this year, ~_~

OP, did you ever receive your purchase? I just bought mine 6 days ago, still says "shipping soon"

Yup, I got it in the middle of November. Don't remember which day exactly, but it did show up.

The tracking Steam provides you if you go to purchase history and check the Steam Link is accurate; it showed where mine was while in transit. So if it's "shipping soon", it really just hasn't been shipped out yet.

I bought mine on 11/23, and just got the FedEx tracking on the 12/3 (Sunday lol).

I came here due to the same concerns as the OP, ordered on 25 Nov, still says 'Shipping Soon' AKA 'no idea'.

I'm 2 days behind giancarlo1985 from the looks of it... which means I could receive my tracking info any day now! However I am in the UK - not sure if they dispatch from the US or have a UK distribution centre? Hopefully won't be too much longer now - can't wait to try this thing out!
