HDMI-CEC Not working?
Hi guys, does anyone else have a problem getting the steam link to wake their TV? I have an old Samsung TV and every single one of my other HDMI-CEC enabled devices wakes my TV without a problem but for some reason the Steam Link doesn't?

My link wakes up my TV.
It's a C-series samsung attached to an onky tx-sr508.
So the question is: how old is your samsung :-).
Anyway:
The problem is so severe that if I have turned off the tv without turning off the link, the link will turn on again the tx-sr508, without turning on the tv, and in turn the sat-receiver also turns on.
I can only turn the remainder off iff the link is also turned "off".

Strange, I also have a C-Series also, perhaps I should try some different HDMI cables :-/

Same problem here. I have a WeTek Openelec Box and the Steam Link connected to my Samsung LE40C750.

When I'm waking up the Steam Link, the input doesn't change at all. After manual changing to the Link it even sometimes changes back to the WeTek Box, if I don't shut it down.

My experience is that the steam-link multiple times turns on my avr, it only once asks the TV for focus (on return from standby), and when selected by CEC, it doesn't answer correctly and hence my TV thinks it is not switched, and my receiver thinks it did. So I cannot select the last channels anymore.

Lowrider: there are indeed a lot of HDMI cables, with and without CEC. You must especially have a cable that is not intended for PC use, as PC's usually short circuit the CEC bus, against HDMI specs. But any HDMI1.4 or 1.3C should work though.
Which model and which port do you use? I think the first port can be configured as PC input, and maybe it ignores CEC on that one.
Be aware that the HDMI input on these older models from samsung are crap. On the slightest thing, the input locks up and you need to disconnect the TV from the mains in order for it to reset. I do that with a wireless power switch so I can just reset the TV.

Mine is a Samsung LE46C530 plugged into HDMI port 1, seems like it could just be an incompatibility with the TV then which is a shame.
