[SOLVED] Steam Link can't find host PC, but In-Home Streaming to laptop does
I am having an issue with my recently purchased Steam Link. I have the Link connected to my modem via ethernet cable. My PC is connected to the modem as well, but via powerline adapter. When I turn on my Steam Link, it continuously goes to the "no host computers found" message.

The weird thing is, I have a Linux laptop with Steam on it, and the PC is able to connect to the laptop (connected to modem with ethernet) via In-Home Streaming, and actually play games. Also, the Link is able to detect this laptop, and I can stream from the laptop to the Link.

So the only thing that does not work is streaming from my PC to the Link. I have tried factory resetting the Link multiple times, but that does not work. I also tried the beta update for the Link and Steam on my PC, but that did not help.

I would very much appreciate some advice. Thanks!

I had this same issue- Steam link could see my PC and was stuck in "connecting". I Disabled the TAP adaptor in Device Manager as described and instantly connected so thanks for the tips here.
