Wii U Pro Controller Not Working

Hi I've seen lots of people say that the Wii U Pro Controller works with their Link, but I can't get it to recognize it either as a Bluetooth device or when plugged in using a USB cable. Am I doing something wrong?

What build are you on? Also, I don't think the Wii U Pro controller is supported over USB, only over bluetooth.

How did you connect your Controller to the steam link? You have to go into bluetooth settings in the steam link menu before starting streaming/connecting to a host pc.

Thanks didn't realise wired wasn't ever going to work! I'm going into Bluetooth settings on the link - not connected to the PC yet. It just doesn't appear even when I press sync on the controller and the blue lights are flashing.

I have noticed that sometimes bluetooth devices can fail to be discovered in the amount of time that they give, at least with the Steamlink. You may want to try going into the bluetooth menu and pushing the sync button, and then if it doesn't get discovered before the controller stops blinking, just try pushing the sync button again. I have one and it works eventually.

Also take note that the WiiU A/B buttons are swapped from what the Steamlink believes. So B on the WiiU will disconnect the controller, while A will back out of the bluetooth menu.
