Mass Effect Andromeda on Steam Link (Xbox One Controller)
Anyone else having troubles?
I've added it as a non-steam game. I'm able to load it up and get to the menu. However, my Xbox One Controller doesn't seem to be fully functional. The thumbsticks are moving the mouse cursor, and the buttons don't seem to have an effect.

I do have a Steam Controller, but I really don't get along with it.

I've asked around reddit and the steam link sub reddit, but I'm not getting any replies. Anyone know how I could edit some sort of config setting in order for the steam link to automatically assume I'm using an xbox one controller?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Was this demo delivered via Origin?

Yes. I've already added it as a non-steam game through the library though.

You need to turn off everything Origin related from within Origin itself. There's a thread on the Stream Controller forum that explains what you need to do. This procedure will work for the Steam Link as well.

Search this forum for "origin games". There are guides which enable gamepad in games. I think we need a sticky post for this.
