Missing minimap

Hello,
Everytime i open the full map with M key, and then close it, the minimap disappears.
How can i restore the minimap???

I think that's just a bug, and unfortunately I don't think there's a work around to it. I just got used to opening the full map when I needed a reminder of where to head.
