PEAK
Cannot launch the game
I was able to launch the game once, I then switch the viewing to windowed, brought it over to my second monitor, then back to full screen, and then the game crashed. Now everytime I try to launch it, a sort of error code of something comes up. It's titled " PEAK - Unity 6000.036f1_9fe3b5f71dbb". I've tried uninstalling and verifying games files bit no luck. Anyone have some advice?

Resetting the resolution in the Registry Editor has also worked for other players :)
  1. Press the Windows key + R and type regedit into the prompt that appears
  2. In the panel to the left, navigate to this folder: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Landcrab\Peak
  3. Delete all settings starting with “Screenmanager”

Running into the same issue on my end, appreciate any help as well. In my case, I was never able to successfully launch and I get that error popup right away.
running into the same issue
i have the same problem, i switched to windowed mode and crash, dont launch anymore
CHANGE YOUR MONITOR TO THE CORRECT VIDEO OUTPUT I SWITCHED FROM 4K TO 2K THEN GOT THE SAME ISSUE- CHANGED MY MONITOR TO 2K THEN THE GAME WORKED.
[SOLVED] Bro i tried so much things to solved this, but what works is, put this line code on preferencies "-screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
" and launch. This is specific for unity games. And worked. :)

Unfortunately this did not work for me, I also tried the launch option settings provided by gibrobotabota with no success. For now I'm going to see if I can get the game to launch on my Steam Deck and go from there

Yeah, if the issue didn't start to happen after you changed resolution, it's probably something else. You could also take a look at https://landfall.se/troubleshooting and see if anything helps.

I just wanted to say that after the latest update I was able to launch the game on my PC using Vulkan! I'm guessing there is something off with my DirectX version/install in that case and might look into it later, but for now thanks for your help and for adding the launch option in the update!

That's great, thanks for letting me know!

Unfortunately, this method didn't work. When I delete the files, they get overwritten when I log in to the game. Deleting the PEAK folder from the registry doesn't seem to have any effect. Does anyone know how to change the values that are being written to the registry files?

Unfortunately, this did not help, and changing the launch parameters did not help either.

If anyone managed to fix the problem, let me know pls
I can’t get the game to even launch. Gone through all steps listed here and I just get an error message

Is there any way to stop the settings from redownloading when I close the game?
Literally none of these suggestions have worked for me
