voice volumes being way too low

HI! Can you explain the issues a bit more? Do you have settings on maybe, that do this? The voices are also meant to not be heard as much from far away. Please check out your own mic and audio settings to see if that helps.

Hey, I'm having the same issue, settings all seem to be good but the sound is extremely low

Seeing the same, the proximity chat starts out pretty low, even when setting another player to max and is a little inconsistent volume to distance wise so I assume the character facing you when talking is important,

It should obviously be quiet if your not near someone but it seems quiet even right in front of them, also seems like the terrain doesn't affect the voice or echo in an ways, the voice volume gets lower but somewhat unnaturally

i have all my settings on max and the voices are very silent even from a few steps away, all my friends have the same issue

Same issues here, it just sounds way too low, maybe the mics you guys tested was really high quality or something?

yeah im having the same issue. even basically next to my friend its hard to hear him without turning my pc volume up to ungodly levels. Have him turned up in game and master volume up to max

We all got the same issue, friends and i were standing right infront of eachother and when switching from discord to ingame, it was like barely half the volume

Same for me, it's way too quiet.

Overall I feel like the volume could have their max increased by 100%. This would let us crank up voice volume a bit more. Same for the per-player sliders.

Of Course! (sorry I couldn't get to this earlier, i spent too much time playing the game lol). But the voices coming from other players is way too quiet or just straight up inaudible, and for me no one could hear my voice either. There also seems to be issues with push to talk mode not working and some volume adjusting across voices not working either.

Seems like the volume increase doesnt work in lobby, if you increase once you start it works

also have this issue with my two friends, we're all at max volume and it is unfortunately still too low

Having the same issue. My friend was able to hear me no problem but I was struggling to hear him even when right in front of each other. We both had to turn the volume to max but again it only worked for him and not me.
