Yeah it tried I can’t find it
i cant find the couch coop either
no but maybe in a future update
Please re-examine the game's store page, along the right-hand side, and notice that the game is tagged as Single player and Online Co-op, with an explicit *lack* of local co-op. I don't know what you're expecting.

Don’t be a smartass. Many local coop games don’t have that tag. God, I just can’t stand people like this.

It is true though which is evidenced if you actually spent even 2 minutes to look, buddy. To save you your precious time just look at Lego Hobbit, Lego LOTR or Lego Batman which are all developed by a large company and have been lazily listed as single player only. You and Arriator both have terrible attitudes, you should work on that.

Don't know if the one you've answered is a "smartass" but I'm afraid you're baddly wrong ... :/
These games have the tag "Remote play together", which is local multi with the aibility to have Steam emulating it online (without real online implemented in-game). So a local coop is actually here, in some way, "explicitely implicit".

I don't say the case doesn't exist of a game with local coop really don't have this tag, but it might be very rare ; and actually there is every chance that a game with a "online coop" tag without a "local coop" one *really doesn't have local coop*. Even if, okay, mistake could happen I guess ?
That said, it's a shame local coop doesn't exist in this game, I'll buy it as soon as local will exist !! 😭

Man, knowing that "Remote Play Together" also implies "There is Local Co-op but the developer/publisher forgot to include THAT flag" is byzantine and unintuitive knowledge. I would be willing to bet the majority of people on Steam have never used Remote Play Together, and many probably have no idea what it is.

You're correct that TECHNICALLY you can figure it out from that info, but... they're not wrong. Especially because RPT is listed at the bottom of a tower of 5 other "Remote Play on Phone" type of tags, and not where Single/Multiplayer is listed. Just looking at Lego Batman, it sure looks like a singleplayer-only game to anyone unfamiliar with it. Which, let's be honest, if anyone is looking at those tags, they're unfamiliar with the game and probably aren't knowledgeable enough to make that leap.
100% needs local co/op. If there's not already a nucleus coop handler, that would be my next step is trying to hack one together.
