Stephen Haggking quest

Got the quest to protect Stephen Haggking from aliens, zapped the ufo as soon as I saw it. Waited for the timer to expire and I failed?? the quest, saying that the aliens had abducted him when he's having the time of his life moving down the street. I followed him for the 5 minute timer and no other ufo spawned.

A second ufo spawned AFTER I failed the quest, and when I destroyed it I got the achievement for saving Stephen Haggking???

I just had this quest spawn 2 UFOs right from the start, I downed both, and failed the quest anyway. I've reloaded several times and there were never any additional UFOs, it's failing even though I shot down the only ones.

Happened to me - the timer ran out and I failed the quest stephen was perfectly fine the whole time

Don't have a save before accepting the quest, either.

This is the second broken quest I've encountered that I've been forced to fail. Given how important they are, they need to implement a console or some other emergency fix for their broken quests, not really acceptable in a 1.0.

I didn't get the quest yet and i have like a 5 hour game. I also can't save 4 some reason

i got the quest notification that i failed, (i just watched em sitting around), then 2 ufos spawned in, which i destroyed, after that i got the quest completed notification
