I failed the quest for electricity because the lightning wouldn't work for me, and by the time I got it working, the time was up. How do I receive the electricity if the quest was failed?

Even if you fail the quest, you'll still progress in the tech tree. Only thing you miss is the quest reward.. which I think is just +15 believers at the moment

This is a known issue, and we are still trying to track down the cause

Since the patch this quest seems bugged for me, the items for the quest to be found under the "smoke plumes" are NOWHERE to be found on the planet for me, I've tried multiple times, so I end up failing the quest which has dire consequences as the nuggets now need power and the battery is not there to supplement while I build power out...can you verify this?
