AI doesn't recognize wells and keeps drinking lake water

I constantly have to waste creator points on nuggets who keep getting infected from bad water but I'm making 4 times as much water as we need, there are wells everywhere that are all full and they're easily accessible but the nuggets keep complaining there is no water and drink from the lakes even when they're right next to the well, this problem has only occurred after the beta update, if anyone can find out why that would be appreciated, thanks.

After the beta update, wells don't fill from reservoirs anymore from what I can tell. You have to place wells in the light blue areas that you'll see in an overlay when you are placing them down. Anywhere else and they won't work. It seems like the reservoirs are mostly now for storing water for buildings (Houses, farms, etc.)

Fully in the light blue areas? Doesn't seem to work if they are halfway in one or if they are in any darker blue ones. Anyway you can supply a screenshot?

So I see. Well, you might want to submit your save file then so the devs can take a look. Beta seems to have brought a ton of new bugs and issues, so I wouldn't doubt someone else has ran into this too.

I had this issue as well, I managed to fix it by placing alot more wells around, and having my minister of water do that job automaticity later, it takes about 25 wells for my 180 civs to drink well water and not lake water.

they don't drink from the wells anymore, they always drink from the lake....

Speaking of which, did your bug get worked out? Or did you send a save file to the devs? Most times if you send them a save file not only can they figure the bug out, but they can send a fixed copy of your save back to you.

Just asking because I haven't ran into this bug myself yet.

Yeah, everyone's a bit ticked off, I mean, I don't blame them, this new UPlay Origin bs library was something no one asked for, the inability to view top rated reviews of all time, the ability to see people who downvoted reviews, removing negative reviews for being "off topic", It's quite a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I reacted to you because of YOUR comments! I, by mistake posted in the wrong forum and you jumped all over me.
