Early game (stone age) infection.
After a good start everything seemed to be fine, but suddenly almost everyone seems to be "infected,” and I don’t know why.

It’s frustrating because I get notifications that nuggets are dying, but I don’t see any information about the cause in their pannel, water? food? It seems I have enough of both.

I still have some powers, and the hospital just has one space, but still, why is everyone suddenly infected?

Nuggets get infected by walking past a corpse or by drinking lake water and both have custom yellow notification text.

Try checking if the notifications in the settings got turned off somehow.
If that's not it, check if you accidentally clicked one of the filters in the notification menu (n).

If you're playing with the Highlander trait, their debuff is that they spread infection like crazy to everyone they walk by.

I'll checl notifiations.

I am playing with the standard traits (as I remember, there is no penalty or benefit).

I have a cemetery and it seems to cover the entire area. I have also tried to have water coverage; it still can be one of both, but that’s the frustrating part. I just get notified my nuggets die because of an infection. I see a lot of them with sick icons above their heads, but I don’t know why. There doesn’t seem to be a problem with food, water, or corpses, but who knows?

I clicked on a sick nugget profile, and I don’t know why, unlike other games, there is zero information (as I have noticed) more than an uninformative icon (pink/red) above his head.

It started during the winter, but now in the spring, the disease is still spreading.

BTW they seem green and walk like zombies, I read in other thread about a “zombie infection”, so my assumption, is that.

But why? and why in the early game? Why I didn’t received notification when started?

Now no idea what to do when everyone is sick and dying :-(

As far as I'm aware the only source of the Zombie Plague are Space Boxes and maybe some random stuff on Halloween Planet.(If you're using it) Did you open a Space Box? Not sure why the notifications didn't work.

Curing the Zombie Plague is a bit troublesome. You can't use hospitals on Zombies, you have to use the Rejuvenate power or kill them. Defensive towers should attack them automatically, you can use F1 to find them and cure or kill them.

Zombies will continue to infect other nuggets and turn them into zombies until you get rid of them all.

The zombie plague is a bit harder to take care of as it requires you to cure or kill all zombies or they'll keep turning others to zombies.

Are you on the halloween planet? (It's orange, narrators voice is distorted and etc)
No, I think it is a normal planet.

I saw an UFO, and “Black Market” opened from there. I did a tutorial mission to buy wood and rocks; I don’t know if it was that. I also received a notification that a new neighbor village was about to attack, but nothing happened later, go figure.

I saw another thread, and it seems a lot of little silly things can trigger it (UFOs as you suggest, neighbors attacks, drinking water, corpeses), but you cannot be sure. I got no alerts.

MY MAIN COMPLAINT AT THIS POINT IS THE LACK OF NOTIFICATIONS AND ZERO INFORMATION. Everyone started to get this zombie illness, and I just got notified when everyone started to die, not even knowing what is going on and no clues!
So I am not happy; I may be screwed and really don’t want to start another game.
So sad! I really wanted to like this game!

Anyway, from your part, thank you for your help friend!

Possible that the rival village attack was the zombies, what you said reminded me of an old experience. I had an attack and nothing happened, but later I noticed a bunch of small tentacles everywhere, I'm so used to them sending tornadoes and stuff that it being silent threw me for a loop.

i doubt the lake thing would trigger it, I accidentally over-populated once and had several hundred infection messages from drinking lake water with 0 zombies

Yes I would be sure it was that.
I assume it was the other village, I noted like 3 zombies that when I clicked on them had no profile nor the info box that my other nuggets hav.

I controlled it as suggested in other threads, launching zombies to the temple and curing others.
Sadly from a big population I only had 5 when everything was under control :-(
