Mouse not responding in full screen

It works in windowed but not in full screen is there a fix?
I really like this to work full screen.

I am using windows 11 which has been updated. I'm running on an Alienware gaming computer and have over 300 plus games and the mouse worked fine in all of them.

I thought I should clarify, that the mouse is present in full screen it moves around but you can't click on anything, unable to even lay down the outpost marker. In the menu screen you have to move the mouse just right to get it to highlight the different Selections, When you click on one sometimes it opens and sometimes nothing happens. And it will only do the top part not the bottom I cant exit the game I have to clear alt delete to get the task manager and then close the game.
