Looking for some good tips for increasing believers.

Hi all.

I am in the late middle ages/early industrial age and currently have about 360 nuggets at anyone time. Problem is my believer total keeps dropping. I am using the cupid spell regularly to try and increase my population and this used to help increase believers as well but appears to have stopped working.

So does anyone have some good tips to increase the amount of believers in my civilisation?

It seems to as you hit more modern eras, only thing you can do to help is heal people, and use god powers in front of them... I noticed if they see me growing huge swaths of trees I get a few believers out of it.

Jolt of joy, making rain are pretty good. Ultimately belief drops later on.

Heal people who need it. Give them jolts of joy when you have plenty of spare god points. Hit them with lightning. Make rain above their reservoirs. Pick up followers and animals and feed them into your temple.

Sacrifice some bad trait nuggets, use the CP it gives you to make replacements. Both will raise your believers.

If you do this every now and then you never go negative and you start getting nuggets with good traits, before I started doing this I had dozens of lazy or hermit nuggets, now I have a majority of swift/workaholic/etc, at 600 currently with 100% belief.

Also a tip, you can double click a nugget to auto-pair (with other single) or auto-mate them (with current partner), otherwise blowing through 1000 sacrifice CP for 50~ nuggets gets miserable.

Can sort and grab bad trait nuggets in the nugget menu, make sure to be unpaused.
