1) It tells you what to do in the campaign for the most part.
2) Why are you playing without a mouse?
3) Boys in blue and Girls in pink is a pretty standard thing throughout human history plus when you click on any nugget it literally has a blue or pink universally recognisable icon. You can do male to male and female to female relationships, they just wont produce offspring
4) You cant place objects that overlap with other buildings. Maybe that's your issue or not close enough to trees.
5) The voice over tells you about wells and resevoirs in the campaign and on the help screen. If you don't have something it literally tells you you need one.
For me the campaign is too slow that's my only beef.
GameOverRIP - Some of the things that you need to know are only obvious through lots of trial and error and having to restart the game three times...would be great if little details like the reservoir/well thing was pointed out so you didn't continue to make the same mistake for HOURS before finding out. And got the pink/blue thing sorted but again, joining boys or girls together in modern relationships does produce children in a round about way but again, this is not pointed out (clearly biological procreation is required!) My struggle was really that I was trying to make couples during the day when it was too bright to see the differences in the colours...sorted now so that most of the unions are made in the winter or at night when it is clear which is which.
Lastly, I don't appear to get a help screen when I press F1...not sure if my version has had it removed.
