Locating the parts for Tesla's Battery?

Hello all,

I'm having trouble locating the parts for Tesla's battery - I've 6 minutes left on the quest timer and have scoured the planet for the plumes of smoke I'm meant to find but no luck. Can anyone provide a screenshot or something of what the plume is meant to look like?

Hi.

Didnt screenshot that , but its just a vertical white smoke pretty easy to spot.

Btw i looked a guy on youtube doing this quest, and seems he didnt have the smoke, maybe you have the same issue.

Mine had different coloured smoke plumes. They were quite far out, so had to look around.

There are differently colored smoke plumes, so be sure to look for those. If you want, make a save where this is occurring and send it to us. That way if it is something where maybe the parts or smoke aren't spawning, we can look at those and figure it out

I've been looking for about half hour now and I can't find anything :(

You have to build the battery first then the items will appear with the smoke plumes. Made that mistake

reckon its a bug. the battery parts themselves will disappear if you load a save game in which the quest was half finished.

You also have to choose I'm on it or they don't show up. Just looked for ever had no smoke plumes or a timer. But had the battery down. Then when I read the quest again I clicked I'm on it. Then the timer started and the smoke plumes appeared. To me less than a minute to find all the parts after that. Hope this helps someone having issues.

How do i re-open the quest when i have missed the timer?

You can't. However if you didn't do the quest your nuggets will build the battery using resources after the quest timer runs out.
