Airport?
Maybe I am not seeing a menu or something, but does the Airport not have any functionality currently?

I see airplanes occasionally fly from one airport to another, but I can't see any sort of trade transaction happening or anything being generated. Has a visitors box but its always empty.

Currently, all the airport does is convert some exile tourists back to citizens of your city.

But so few exiles (even with max. friendship) that is way irrelevant, and the process takes eons

Correct :) Right now, the airport is mostly for looks. It used to be what enabled manually trading with exiles, but that was removed for some reason (probably an exploit).
