Infected zones
If the developers are listening...please can we not have so many infected zones. I literally spend 70% of my time flying round the place picking up dead bodies and curing the infected. Even next to cemeteries who have workers doing nothing. Can we not have ambulances or something to cart away the dead...it really does make gameplay annoying.

or even a priest who does the curing of infected zones :-)

To avoid infection zones, make sure your city has 100% cemetery coverage. You actually want to overlap the cemetery zones a little bit. Early on the cemetery can't quite handle everything in the green circle.

When I play, the only time I have infected is from hunters or gatherers that wander outside of my city

If you do get an infected alert, immediately click the news link to warp to it and pick up the body. Picking up the body cures the infected zone. Then drop the body in the nearest cemetery. You could drop it in a lake, but then you risk it going toxic.

The cemeteries aren't really doing their part. I have full coverage within the town, but most of my infections happen outside of the town on whatever routes my nuggets take for whatever reason I haven't figured out yet. But even in the town, with I think roughly 200% coverage, I still regularly get infection zones.

If that keeps happening, DM me on the Universim discord. I'm Dave there too. You can send me your save file, and I can see if you have a bug or some other issue

Hi Dave,

Thank you so much for your response but I have to say that I agree with gghf except for the part about most of the infections happening outside of town because a lot of mine are in and around town, especially outside of the stone and wood refineries.

I have four cemeteries and the whole town is covered but still I have sick and old nuggets dying and being left where they drop thus causing infection zones. I also have two hospitals and now don't ever have water issues. And quite often, the cemeteries refuse to take bodies despite not being full (burning bodies on or off) and I must have lazy cemetery workers cos quite often they appear to be doing nothing.

Any thoughts would be great. Cheers!

I have the same issue. The nuggets in my cemeteries are simply doing nothing and ignore the dead bodies. They utmost have 1-2 gravestones active. There has to be some kind of bug that just prevents them from working.

I have only been playing 2 days, but infection zone are my worst part so far. I figured out how to use the filter to see them, but, it's on perma-pause when you do (so you can't heal it). If you turn off the filter so you can see the problem, 90% of the time there is nothing there, but if I heal that area, it's gone.

Side note: is there a way to have less workers in things like Stone works? It's like I either have tons of stone, or tons of bricks, but can't balance it out.
