Nugget Engineer not fixing
I am sure I am just not doing something, but when I build the early base engineer hut and assign a person there, they literally just are ( doing nothing ) status while everything falls down around them. What am I missing?

Hey! What is the status of your water pumps? Do all your buildings have enough water to operate?

Lol, MageCoerlin. Seems like you should put a pop-up tip in-game on the screen that says something along the lines of "Make sure your buildings have water to operate, make sure to eventually get a resevoir before winter". Would solve half the "My XXXXXX is not working"

So we actually do have a pop up tip labeled reservoirs that says that exact thing, plus the narrator usually says something about pumps freezing over and making sure you have reservoirs. But yeah, it seems to not be working.

The water status was probably low, but I restarted the game with emphasis on having more water than I would need, and everything seems to be fine so I will assume it was the lack of water.

The first game everything fell apart as a result.

In the original game I had a single pump and a single reservoir with multiple wells, so it appeared to be working as intended, as the tribe was probably too large.

Yeah, just watch your water levels at the bottom so you can tell when you're gaining/losing water and keep in mind environmental factors that will impact the reservoirs. You can learn more about that in the Wiki at the top right
