water pumps suddenly stopped working all year round
sorry for making another post, but i've run into an actual problem that i literally have no idea how to solve. ALL of my water pumps suddenly stopped running. at first i thought it was because it was too cold, but then it got to be late spring/early summer and the pumps still didn't turn on. i closed the game and reopened it hoping that this would fix it, but the pumps still aren't budging. now none of my nuggets will work and are getting sick from drinking lake water.

all of the water pumps are 100% health, i have 5 of them, and all of them have 0% output. before they stopped, i was building another two for expansion, but now i can't even work on building them. what is happening?? is there no way to fix it or is my civilization doomed to die now?

You may have pulled too hard on the lake, and drained the usable water content. Try casting a trickle effect over the lake and see if that gets it going again. You can check the health of the lake by selecting a pump and checking the lake health graphic on it :)

O' course if the lake was drained, all the fish in it are probably dead.. you'll have to set your fishing huts elsewhere :)

The nuggets getting sick is another matter, they only get good water from wells and taverns. With the pumps down, only wells.. so to stop 'em from drinking from the lake, you may need a lot more wells. If the pumps start up again, may be a good idea to drop some more anyway.. tavern drinks refill very slowly..

ohhh, okay that might actually be my problem then. i had no idea about lake health!
and about the sick nuggets, i have plenty of wells it's just that there's no water being pumped to them so they immediately run to the lake when they're thirsty. hopefully by using the raincloud it'll solve the problem i'm having

welp, it turns out my problem WAS that there was no usable water in the lake. popping a few rainclouds over it fixed the problem, thank you for the help!
