Gaining believers? Tips?

I have 16 believers but 45 nuggets. I need more followers. I heal and spread the joy, even use telekinesis from time to time, but I'm not gaining any new followers. What else can I do to help gain?

you don't really get quest, often enough to gain followers that way.

Hey I might be late on this one. I think the believer system is not as complicated as we are led to believe. I gained 10 believers by spending 100 points. But I spent the points 2 at a time, growing trees. My assumption is that it's the frequency of the use of God powers, not the amount of creator points nor who sees you using them. With this I can assume that every 5 uses of God powers you gain a believer.

There seems to be something I don't understand "random believers." I've noticed some nuggets born believing, I believe this is due to a set limit. Where as one believer dies so another is born believing. This seems to do with an upkeep mechanic that I don't understand and seems to degrade overtime.

But there also seems to be another ramdom upkeep that gives you random believers. Which is like a monkey throwing a wrench in my belief in this believer idea. Though there is a lot to keep track of with 80 plus nuggets, so I could be imagining some of these beliefs.

Regardless now I need to put these ideas to the test, was just excited... I've been trying to figure out how to believe in my believers for about a week...

Well either show your powers or just make them happy by making them smiles or having nuggets falls in love.

Showing your powers like picking up something using Telekinesis infront of a crowd will sure to grants you followers.

In my opinion, believers die faster than you can get new believers, when you have a population above 100.

I Smote a exile village (who's attitude towards me was hostile) with lightning and that was a believer cash cow XD

Yeah the belief system needs a major rework in my opinion. What u can do is kill all nuggets with bad traits and plant trees 1 by 1 untill you get them all to belief but this will again decrease so just forget about the believers :P

Easiest way to gain believers is to do nothing. Use your cp to keep your civ going. Make love for population booms, grow trees in you forestry for faster lumber production, rain in your lakes or water reservoirs to keep them filled. You get more just by making them happy of striking fear into them. Not needed tho 400+ pop 100+ believers and never use enough cp at a time to run out

If you clean up your genetic regularly with sacrifice and then get back 100% hapiness rating by planting trees you'll have a fair amount of believers.

Also by doing so many sacrifice you'll have the opportunity to use cupidon as much as you like without being overpopulated with insuficiant supplies.

Basicly once you have too much negative traits nuggets you sacrifice some until you get 1000 creators points and then you use 600 of them to spawn two big forest and your nugget will be back loving you at 100% plus you'll have a bunch of new believers. If you have a ton of negative traits just rince and repeat, but plant trees everytime you reach 1000 CP since it's the maximum.
