How do I get my nuggets to... y'know, do work?

I need them to do stuff like collect stone and wood and then refine it so I can build and upgrade structures, but they just... don't. they sit around all day doing nothing and then complain when they don't have good structures

If there is room for wood in the refinery then they will collect it. Maybe one of them is already on the way and it takes time before its delivered. Or the building is bugged (nuggets cant find pathway to it).

Build a storage warehouse near refinery and only set wood collection on. They will collect wood for the warehouse.

Make sure you have some couriers buildings, is faster and more carry capacity

In the beginning its nice to use telekenisis to move trees and drop them on the refinery (if it fails the nuggets working there get crushed and die and building gets damaged)

I am having this same issue. But mainly with the stone. I have rebuilt mine closer to the village, closer to stone. in the middle, with a warehouse near it. They will not collect. They will VERY rarely deliver stone to structures. But will not to upgrades. I have to tele. stone in for them to even make the bricks. The wood will make but has the same delivery issue.

when is the last time you did a clean install? try that

try a clean install or at the very least verify the integrity of the files

Did you ever get a solution to this problem? I'm having the same issue with stone. I'm not advanced enough to have couriers yet only at mining. My wood refinery is doing OK but my none of my nuggets will deliver stone to the stone refinery, I have to do it manually with telekinesis.

I set my town hall to autoassign none of the labourers and they still won't bring stone anywhere, even to new buildings. There are like 20 piles of stone next to the refinery too.

depression seems to be a thing, are they not working in general or only when it comes to refining?
