roguelight - broken heart mode

is it me or is the broken heart mode also influencing the arrows pickups?

also, when you finish the game in broken heart mode, you can see the heart block highlighted on the results screen, next to it there is a skull block - does anyone know whether or not the skull can be collected as well? [the heart can be seen next to the scythe in the room to the left from where you start the game, casually sitting on the shelf but there is enough space for another collectible next to it]

Yes, from a cursory investigation it appears it can. Though I'm not of stout enough character to carry it out in full. ;)

there is one other 'stunt' i'm trying to pull off, but so far i've failed a few times... if i can get it i'd like to get the proper way. proper way in this case doesn't involve notepad ;]

I know this reply is very late but better late than never, right?

The skull (head ache mode) can also be collected, and it is activated in a fairly similar fashion to the heart (heart break mode)!

yeah, that was a long time ago all right... what i thought would give me the skull was to finish the game taking no damage at all in the process, but that stunt was apparently not what was required... so i gave up... now that i see how it works maybe it's time to get back to this game ;]
