Yeah... Good luck getting a game started with that amount of players,
especially when most of them are playing in private lobbies.
It says a lot about the playerbase when people have to make threads to find players.
I'm not denying its usefulness. My point is that there's clearly something wrong with the active players count when people have to make threads on the Steam forums to gather enough players and schedule a generic game, whereas a healthy and stable playerbase would only require using the in-game lobby browser and waiting less than 5 minutes to get a fullhouse started.
