Riding the Pig Race Bug/Glitch.

Has anyone else encounter this bug/glitch before? I was exploring the hubs (Lego Jurassic World) and I came across a pig trapped in a cage. I was still trying to complete story mode but when I came back the pig disappeared/despawned and I couldn't complete the race that was mandatory in 100% the game. Has anyone else had this bug/glitch and if so did you ever find a solution?
