Can you play jurassic world with just one player?

Hi all, I havent had a chance to look into this game much, my wife bought it for my 6 year old son. Looking at it quickly it seems that the game is designed for two players. Is there any way to play with just one controller set? He does ok using the arrow keys for player 2, but player one uses the standard FPS setup WASD and he keeps hitting the wrong keys.

The game can be played perfectly fine with one player. It's designed for one or two players.

If you're on your own, you swap between the characters in the level, but if two people are playing then they can control a character each.

All Lego games are set up this way and can be completed solo. I've just finished the main storyline single player without any issues.
