No windowed mode...
seriously? This is honestly a big detriment to me. I can't believe there are still games being made without windowed mode as an option.

None of the lego games have a window mode. why would this one be any different. but i feel your pain i hate gaming full screen.

How can anyone play in windowed mode? Anything less than fullscreen and I can't play the game.

Force window in steam launch commands. Badabimbadabum :D

Force window in steam launch commands does not work for me. Tried -w, -window, -windowed and -sw. None did a thing. This is a huge fail, not allowing something as basic and simple as windowed mode.

I have it set to the same rez as my monitor and it ONLY plays in windowed mode. Anything else and it's off center.

Long story short, I have all of my systems tied to my computer through a capture card. I LOVE being able to adjust the size of whatever I'm doing whenever I want, because I'm usually watching a show on my computer at the same time. Especially with a lego game, I don't really care about story, so theres no reason for it to be taking up my entire screen. I would much prefer to be watching/listening to something else, since lego games are fairly simple, but I can't even do that honestly. Even if I wanted to just have the show running in the background, launching this game crashes VLC immediately, every single time.

how do you windows mode
Yeah, I'm having a bit of a issue with no windowed mode as well. But it seems that seems to be a trend with Lego games. Have to work around it then and play it when I can commit to it instead of quickly on the fly like I do with Dark Souls and Civ V. I hope that Lego *might* patch this, but won't cross my fingers.

I know this is an old thread, but since I was looking for a solution, I think it's still relevant.
Anyway, I found that you can run Lego Jurassic World in windowed mode using DXWnd.

Youtube Video that shows how to set it up with an old version for a different game. I didn't make this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgkL3kDogS0

Download DXWnd from SourceForge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/

Note that you will need WinRar to extract the files. Just google WinRar, download and install it if for some reason you don't already have it.
Also note that the DXWnd application has to be open for the game to start in windowed mode.

If you don't know which one you're using, then just add both LEGOJurassicWorld.exe and LEGOJurassicWorld_DX11.exe to the list in DXWnd.

On occasion, when you quit the game, it doesn't actually close but is still running in the background. If this happens, close it with the task manager.

Finally, to prevent the game from crashing whenever you click on something else or minimize it, do the following:
In DXWnd, right click on the entry for Lego Jurassic World and click Modify
Go to the second tab, the one called Video
At the bottom left, under Window size & position, click locked size.
Click ok and then save the task list.

I found solution for any LEGO game, but only for DX9 renderer (LEGO Jurassic have two, dx9 and dx11, so it good). Step 1, Take 32bit file from there https://github.com/ThirteenAG/d3d9-wrapper/releases Step 2, Run Game and change mode to Dx9. Close game and unzip files (from Step1) to main folder of LEGO Jurassic. Step 3, Open d3d9.ini file with Notepad and change line to "ForceWindowedMode = 1" (as option you can change window mode on line "ForceWindowStyle = 0", default borderless window) Step 4 Run game and have fun :)
