Why this game is SO childish?
I'm not fan of brutality but this game is so childish. No one ever die. While there was a lot of deaths in JP movies.
In lego Indiana Jones was guy which lost his head cause of plane's propeller and like fine, he is dead. Or Star Wars, they show even death of mother, witch just born 2 babys (Forgot her name). But here, when lego took probably most cruel movie (compare to others), they deside to make it most childish.
Again, I'm not fan of brutality but when I see, that raptor just tickle somone, it make very dump situation. Why charecter even try to survive if dinos is COMPLETLY harmless.

Edit #1: Also what about Darth Vader in LEGO star wars 2? You can clearly see how he use force to strangle everyone. And you can do it aswell, or it was childish enough to?

Edit #2: If you will simply comment somthing like "it game for little kids" or "it a LEGO game" then congrats, you not smarter than a chicken, who comment without reading full post.

Humor seems to be an alien concept to you.

I love lego's humor and moment when raptor steal worker's sasuge is awesome. But where is humor with guy witch was eaten by trex from toilet? He just runing. Or guy who sad "clever girl".
It still doesn't cansel fact, that heros try run away from harmles dinos.

If there was a 20ft carnivorosus bird running at me, I'd run too.

I agree with you. I was remembering from Lego Star Wars that Jango Fett really died and Dooku too, there was no scene where they would somehow escape their fate.

There just wasn't any kind of way to save them in previous LEGO games. Scenes like where Qui-Gon got stabbed, there's just no way to work around it... but if you have a scene where you're dropping something in the raptor pit for its off-screen death, there's an opportunity to replace the event with something incredibly stupid-- and that's just what happened.

There was ways to walk around death, dude:cfacepalm:
Indiana Jones: guy with sword. Why Jone shoot him? He could just shoot his sword, so it fly away and guy will just sit and cry, cause his sword disapear.
Or what about guy, witch lose his head? Just make plane hit him with wing, and guy will be knocked out.
Or what about half bold guy in JP 3? Raptor "scratch" his back. But in game what? Raptors just place him and cage. DONE. Lego don't even explain what happend after. In fact they make situation eveen worse, cause didn't explain what happend to him.
And in JP, Lego dont search the way to save character. They just cansel death. Like guy who sad "clver girl" NOTHING HAPANED to him. He just start to run away from raptor until end of story.

I think it was way more amusing seeing Nedry, Muldoon and John Arnold again in Jurassic World, aged and hiding in the garage then seeing them die when they should have.

It's a lego game, it's aimed at children ._.

In fairness, this game stil is terrifying. No, I'm not talking about the dinosaurs, I'm talking about the technical mess this game is on PC.

I'm sure 4GB of RAM and an R9 280 should be more than enough for this not to happen.

First, don't compare other themed LEGO games to Jurassic Park, because they are different aspects of the game industry. Second, don't compare a LEGO game adaption of the Jurassic movies, LEGO games aren't meant to be realistic but full of humor and silly scenes. If you don't like it, don't play it, make your own videogame that exceeds to your pleasures.
Why I can't compare diferent LEGO games? What, there diferen Tt studios exist?
Indian Jones and Star Wars adaption was more realistic.
This is actully mind breaking, when charecter didn't die in game (while died in movie) just desapear. No one try to help him, or explain what happend to him.

The movies were perhaps aimed at an older audience yes, but when it comes to all lego products and video games, they are made for a younger audience which means having to replace aspects that may be too violent with scenes that are portrayed in a more humerous way, without completly changing the main plotline so they make a characters death in a lego game more mild themed, if a characters death is a main part of the original plotline. I see where you are coming from though, but you have to remember lego products of all sorts are made with a child audience in mind.

Explain me.
Why in indiana jones, they show how guy lost his head.
But in JP NOBODY die. How? that guy from IJ wasnt so important for the story.
Carver Jul 19, 2015 @ 12:16pm
Maybe they thought it was funny to have everyone survive instead of killing them off?
Multiple ''dead'' characters return later in the game in humorous ways.
