Game Breaking Glitch - Stuck On Lost World Isla Sorna Hub

This is especially irritating as I'm dangerously close to 100%, luckily have had 0 issues up to this point (I think it's something to do with the fact I constantly have everything on lowest settings in anticipation of any bugs, as people suggested) but I've hit a really irritating one. In essence, I'm stuck in the Lost World hub, quite literally in fact, as any attempts to leave the island (boarding the boats, using the map for fast travel, entering any level) crashes the game to the point where my computer requires a hard restart.

This has actually never happened before, and I was able to travel from this island just fine not too long ago, but until I get this fixed I ain't going anywhere. Any suggestions?

Have you turned off all your extras? (+with all video/effects on lowest/off settings) Try accessing the map (M) then 'K' out til you've got both islands in view. Pick a GAME on the island you want to end up on (free-play). Choose your character (doesn't matter which at this point). As the characters group together and JUST as they are flying off the screen to the right, press ALT+TAB. You'll go to your desktop. Go back into the game from the minimized tab and fingers crossed all will continue correctly without the freeze-up. Then you can either play through or exit to map which will bring you out to the game/map point that you've chosen.
