If you're using Windows PC, find pcconfig file in AppData and remove it. The game should replace it with a default one next you launch it. It might help.

It is a problem. Deleting pcconfig does not resolve the problem. I have a Lego LOTR and I replaced the pcconfig file with the file from Lego Jurassic Park. I think that the problem is with screen resolution. You can change it into HD or if you want I will copy you my file.

The problem is that almost all the Lego games have a problem launching/starting for the first time in anything but a low resolution mode (1024x768 or so.) To get them to work, you need to switch your monitor resolution down to a lower setting with your system control panel, start the game, then go into the game settings and bump up the resolution in the video options. You can then quit the game, restore your monitor back up to 1920x or what ever and relaunch the game, it should work from that point. Otherwise repeat a few times until the game syncs with the monitor resolution.

In order to find it you need to make AppData folder visible (it's hidden by default).

Turn off all of the overlays in Steam and, if your graphics drivers have overlays - turn them off too. In Steam look under Setting->In-Game. Disable the Steam overlay in the game specific settings too. Click the cog in the Library view and untick both boxes under the General tab.
This worked for me...
