how do you use the mini kit detector?

you see, I have the mini kit detector, but I don't know how to use. so how do I use it

As with all the Red Bricks, once you have discovered them, you have to buy them at the visitor centre and then pause and switch them on in 'Extras'. Then the game will give you a series of indicating arrows on-screen during play showing where the items are hidden.
