Game length?
Just curious as to how long a single playthrough is. I've read there is a short and long game option, but does anyone have a rough estimate of how long each are in terms of average hours played?

The short game option is around 10+ hours, and the long game option can be 30+ hours.

Im happy to see that the game is longer than I originally assumed. Thanks for the response.

It all really depends on what events you get, and how lucky you are in said events. If you get all good events all the time, then chances are the game would be a lot shorter. Except that usually never happens, as there are more bad results than there are good ones.

Our original design goal was to offer 40 hours of game play (including at least one replay).

40 hours? Filthy casual devs. >_>

I sunk hundreds into the IOS version.:eng:

(Coding time doesn't count as playtime for you! :nonplussed_creep:)

Love your game btw, will definitely pick it up on steam eventually.

I also have definitely spent much more than 30 hours on iOS.

I guess it has 30 hours of content, but one can come across some of those contents more than once eg during raids etc.

Will you add a endless mode where the main chain story is not included?

Any campaign can be endless if you are unlucky enough. ;)

Another tribe will achive victory if you take too long.

Really? Guess I never played long enough for that to happen.

Anyway, the biggest problem with having an endless mode is the fact the game was not designed to be endless. All sorts of odd things can start to occur, as the game was not made so that you can still be playing 1000+ years later.

Although to me the biggest problem would be how the game could not simulate later events, like the rise of the Lunar Empire and its conquest of Sartar.
