Report a translation problem
In my personal experience, having more than 1000 population makes things a bit tricky even if you're doing very well. You'll get the tribe splitting events from oh so random reasons which you won't get if your population is only around 900~ish. They'll become finicky and get pissed with you for such small things that are usually ignored.
I think the highest I've got was 2800 (iirc) where no matter what I do (clan, carls and thans have max mood) they keep coming up with excuses to just split the clan.
I've only played the steam version so don't know how other versions work other than this.
